That's funny...When I was in Europe last, it seemed almost every third car had one of those on its vents. They sell like hotcakes over there.

 

Sorry to hear about the misfortune. If they don't cover you, i would take them to small claims court.

Sucks about your car, but at least you will be getting a brand new stereo and dash. If they just give you the money the dealership says it will cost, you don't *have* to actually spend it on that, legally. I'd just pay audi to fix your dash, but instead of having a new and expensive "audi symphony" stock HU, get a new aftermarket one instead! I bet audi charges a rediculous ammount for a new head unit, for the same price you get something much, much better from Best Buy or better yet, eBay . (oh noz! I mentioned eBay! Someone ban me!)
