Default Wanting to buy an Audi A4 guidence please>>>

I've been searching and looking at old post to try and help me out with my quest. I'm leaning more towards an A4 rather than an S4 like I origionally planned. I'm wanting something reliable and good on gas, I'm fading out of the car moding scene and trying to go towards a nice reliable family type car that still isn't a taurus or minivan or some other lame type of family vehicle. I've always like the look of the audi's and think of them as a classy car along the lines of BMW's, and better than a VW even though they share the the same enignes I belive. Like comparing a lexus SC300 to to toyota solara if you get my drift. I was big into the Nissan scene and have gone through 3 Nissan 300ZX TT's and after selling my last one I made the mistake of getting a 240sx, which was just a waste of time and money. I'm now wanting to get an Audi and grow up and just be able to drive a nice and reliable car with some class. If you could like me to any helpful posts or give me any information as to what to look for when buy an A4, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm leaning towards a 1.8T quattro but if the 2.8(?) V6 is more reliable then I will look at them. Like I said earlier I'm not looking into going fast or anything I just want a relaibility and good/decent gas mileage. Maybe at the most some Eibach springs and some BBS wheels and call it a day. I'm 26 married with a 2 & 1/2 year old son. 2 seater sports cars don't cut it anymore.

Thank you for any help or advise,

Jeremy Heath

Yea an A4 sounds right. As for as reliability the 2.8 is better than the 1.8t. Just regular maintenance and your good, no turbo to blow out on you and no BS leaks.
