RE: VVME.com help me pick!!
I have the 6000K from vvme and they do look more blue than all the stock xenons rolling around here IMO 8000k is too much you might have a little bit of trouble seeing at night with the 8000k especially when it rains. but the 8000k do look sweet.

so when you say the 6000k is more blue than the stock ones around, you are talking only audi or all car companies...when you are coming up on a BMW 7 series and that blue light hits, its bluer than that??
thanks for the info!!
and the other Q?? is are the 6000k brighter than the stock non HID lights?? or can you see clearer??

RE: VVME.com help me pick!!
I suggest you go with the 6000k, the lighting output is better than the 8000k but not obnoxiously bright as a 4300k. Plus it'll still have that blue tint to show its definitely aftermarket. Cops never bother me about it. As long as they are aimed correctly you won't have any problems, like getting almost run off the road by truckers...don't ask me how I know lol
Significantly brighter. Its kinda like a "regular" tv vs a 42" plasma HDTV. Everything is that much more crisp and detailed.

well i know that post usually go longer than this to make a decision, but you have all sold me on the 6000k, i want that blue color and i think you are right that the 8000k is too bright, but i have never seen any of these after market kits, only the ones that come stock on cars....and if you say the 6000k is good then damn it im getting it....when i get them all installed i will post the pics...i need to order them first obviously!!
thanks again for all your help guys!!!

i really like my 8000k's they are still tons better then stock halogen.. and they arent as blue as i thought they would be, i really think the difference between 8 6 and 4300 k is minimal as far as output they are all within about 700 lumens of each other. and as far as i know its anything over 8000k thats illegal

RE: VVME.com help me pick!!
Quit saying that a higher colour temperature would be too 'bright' for you... It's already been stated that 4300k is the brightest, and anything above that is just going to get bluer, and offer LESS visibility.
I'd like to see a set of VVME hids beside OEM hids though... as manufacturers color temperature ratings are known to be innacurate. I have a feeling that VVME's 6000k may be a closer match to OEM 4300k than VVME's 4300k. Somebody please prove me wrong!
