I got my 6000k bulbs from ebay for 80 dollars yesterday. Took exactly a week to ship. I got them installed today, took about an hour and a half but most of that was wasted time looking for tools. Its not dark enough yet but Im going to take a little night cruise later to see how they are in action. They looked great in the garage. I do have a question though, is it normal to hear a spark sound when I first start my car? I hear a spark then the bulbs flicker on and then they burn to their natural color, all this happens in about 2 seconds..Is this normal start up for HIDs ?

It stopped, just did it the first two times I started. And to the eBay questions, this is the auction I bought mine from. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...92519&rd=1

RE: vvme.com?
Can someone get me pics of these HIDs in a '96 B5 2 piece headlight?
For what they're worth:

They're better than the stock halogens, but the output and beam pattern is less than impressive with the reflectors. I'm now looking for some projectors to upgrade to and if I were you, I would seriously consider getting a set first if you're going to go HID.
