Default very happy with 1.8t

i was very happy with my 01 a4. i was at a stop light and was making a left hand turn onto another road. there are two turning lanes that are turning left. i was in the far left lane and there was a g35 coupe in the right turning lane. i was unaware that the car was even there. but, the light turned green and i proceeded to make the left hand turn without racing in mind. i heard that exhaust from the coupe, and he was getting on it pretty hard but not too hard in the turn as he would have spun out.
anyway as we got on the road, both going straight, i nailed it and so did he. i barked the hell out of 2nd and i heard him bark as well. he was unable to pass me. he staied to my right at about the 1/4 panel the entire time.
----
i took that as a victory. tell me what you think.

the G35 is a nice car, same engine as the 350z.

if he was an auto, and maybe even the X, his drivetrain loss could make him slower.

Also, his power is more up top being a NA car.
