Default Vent Gauge Pod

Hey guys,

Where can I find the cheapest place to buy a vent gauge pod (without the gauge) for a 01 A4 1.8T Quattro.
I just ordered the gauge and dont want to mount it on the a pillar because of the airbag.

Thanks in advance.

Ps. If your gonna give me sh*t and tell me to use the search function save it and just dont reply cause ive been visiting this site everyday for months and i used the search alot already i just couldnt find the info i need for this one.

Ciao

I don't even understand what that means.

Let me paraphrase... "Was that dash vent pod a custom piece of artwork, or was it purchased from a store?"

Other than that, have you noticed any side effects from not having the vents?

blue light.. i'm pretty sure its custom... if you want to keep the vents I suggest searching for the DIY... might be over on VWVOrtex. you basically pop out the vents and cut a hole in it so the guage fits in there snug then you have the vents and the vent gauge and the money you would have spent on the pod. free DIY, looks sweet... and not time consuming... just be careful not to cut the hole too big. remember measure twice... cut once... or whatever... a file also comes in handy.
