RE: I've been busy getting ready for summer. Lots of Pics
Ok here's some of my past "dorm room mods" I may have posted some of these before. Also the car is dirty and dusty as hell so cut me some slack
The valentine 1 in the gauge cluster mod
I had to move the temp display that used to be where the v1 display now resides, so I soldered an extension wire into the instrument cluster plug.
Then I hollowed out the mirror, trimmed the hell out of the temp dipsplay, etched out a square behind the mirror and there you have it. Heres the result
The custom a-pillar pod. Funny story behind this: Bought an extra pillar, and a civic a-pillar pod, trimmed the pod, and fiberglass it to the apillar after stripping the a-pillar of course. Filled in the cracks with bondo..next I had to find matching fabric, so i drove everywhere and looked everywhere for fabric, couldnt find anything. I was just about to buy headliner material from germany, when I decided to try the salvation army. I spent about an hr in there then I found the absolute perfect match and it was stretchy enough to mold around the pod..the catch it was one of those oldschool woman skirts, like your 3rd grade 90yr old teacher would wear. Brought it up to the counter paid my .25 cents and the lady looked at me like I was crazy or something...oh well it worked
The turbo timer, For this I just wanted to get it out of the way without losing any stock appearance, I geuss just like everything else I've done. anways I wired it up and trimmed out the blank next to the ebrake as you can see.
The turbo kit, pieced together the kit, fabbed a couple parts including the oil/coolant lines. basically a home brew set-up. Heres a couple of my favorites
And the car as it is sitting in the school parking lot right now...hope theres not drunk kids out tonight
Sorry for being such a pic *****[8D]

So tell us Tom, did you actually shave your legs before you put the skirt on?
