Updated: I've been busy getting ready for summer. Lots of Pics
Here's some of my dorm room mods. Car should be back into summer mode by then of the weekend Finally!
As you can see the clear coat on my wheels lips was starting to look like hell,
So I stripped off the clear
and polished until I got to bling status
Then I took my bumper off and began hacking away for the intercooler that should be here today or tomorrow
I'll post pics when the wheels are done, and the intercooler is on
This was the most difficult mod I've ever done. I have done clutches and timing belts no problem, but over this spring break i decided to tackle a 3" downpipe, that would reduce to my borla 2.25" back muffler/resonators. I will be adding a dump valve in when I have $$ again. Previously I had my 3" testpipe going directly into a 2.25" flange which obviously is a huge restriction. This took my about 16hrs to make this stupid little pipe, and it looks kinda crappy cause my welding isnt great but hey..it works. Heres some pics of my Home Brew downpipe.
The whole thing
The way I bolted up the flange enables me to twist the entire exhaust to adjust its clearance in places.
Another random pic
This is what I was aiming at.
What a PITA
