so i was taking the hose off the manifold intake nipple device thing, and it snapped.. very easily. it almost looks like it's threaded in.. is this right? anyone know the part number or correct name?
it snapped almost flush, so it'll be a pain to get it out of there if it's threaded.. but i'll just be happy to know that if it's threaded it'll be an easy fix. if its not.. ****!!!

RE: uh oh (intake nipple)
the fpr has a vacuum hose to the manifold.. am i wrong? i'm going off a bad picture off of a haynes manual so I could be completely off. anyway, the vacuum hose nipple i snapped is on the manifold side, i just might have the wrong name. i'll have to check in the morning.. don't mean to sound lazy, car is parked a few blocks away and i'm about to go to sleep.. it's been a long day.

The fpr wouldnt just snap off though... Well, shouldnt. The weakest part is burried in the fuel rail and the top/sturdy part is clipped into the neck of the fuel rail. Does it look like this?
If you snapped the intake manifold nipple then that is bad. Youd have to get a new nipple welded on. I cant imagine how the **** you broke it though. Its not exactly fragile.

A used intake man should only be $100-150 tops. For a temp fix you could just block the hole (if need be, getto it with jb weld) and just T into another manifold vac source. Not a big deal. I would rather swap manifolds instead of trying to fix this one.
