I have personaly never heard a Rockford sub what size? 10 inch, 12ich?

 

i've always liked the look of the Punch subs, but idk how they sound....im sure they are good though.

 

its a 10" and they sound like they are named. They have a ton of punch. The sony sounded sloppy. This sub had a driving sound that seemed real crisp. Its hard to describe but basically... it sounds awsome.

 

About 5 years ago the quality of Rockford Fosgate took a real hit, and they declined rapidly. A friend of mine got a newish amp, and it failed at least once. No personal experience with the subs, but Rockford isn't known for it's subs..

If you'd like to shop at crutchfield.com, may I suggest some Infinity Perfects, or Kicker Solobarick L7's...actually, if you could just give me a budget and a goal (really loud, really good sound quality, or a mix of both) I could give you a decent list. I'm willing to bet an ID Max would suit you perfectly. It's a good blend of volume and SQ for a decent price. It's approximately in the quality range of a JL W6v2, but for less money.

 

i actually had that jl w6v2 and a wire snapped off of it. So im not really lookin to go back. I appreciate is keltic but i think im pretty much set on this P2. I'm gonna get the 4 year full warranty and im not using their amp so i should b aright. Thanks a lot though.

 

Listen man. My friend had the sickest set up in his trunk. By far the most amazing sound i have ever heard. 2 10" MB Quart Premiums. And 2 6x9 Premims run iff one HUGE Rockford. Thats the reason I went with my components. Just telling you. For the money you would pay for even 1 10", it is the best sounding sub out there, minus the JL you were talking about.

 

I used to own 2 10" MB Quart Premiums...VERY good SQ, but not nearly loud enough for my tastes, and I ran them in a small hatchback..

 

Yeah rockford definately took a hit a few years back... now futureshop sells them... it's a bad scene. But yeah... the subs are pretty good. I remember like 4 or 5 years ago... I had drooled over the HX2's... so nice.

 

Dude I love everything about your pics and signature and all that... But... By the looks of your pic, you must know something about stereo's/amps etc... How could you not know of Rockford??? Thats just insanity, Ive known of them since I was like 16, and that was 9 years ago!
