no, its actually not open at all at idle, i did check that and double checked. it has a pretty stiff spring.

*trust me it is NOT venting at idle

 

but if you have the spring pressure tight as hell to keep it closed, your hurting the turbo by notreleasing enough air when you vent

 

yes... because obviously the reason the 004 is recomended is because of the way it looks(not to mention you can't even see it when its installed). and if you get the one that looks just like it it will performe the same.

beleive me, it vents fine...its loud as hell and it is pushing the piston a tad bit at idle but not enough to vent at idle, i perfected the tension.

and an mbc cranked to double the stock boost
