Default turbo whine

Since i got my car back from the shop i've been hearing a turbo whine when i start out in first and sometimes at low RPM's but, when i get on the car the turbo feels normal and spools like it always does is this normal and i ust never heard it before or is this a possible cause to a more serious issue?

If it's a light whirring whine, then it is the turbo spooling. If it sounds like a dentist's drill, then it may very well be a turbo that is soon to fail.
Have the ecu scanned by a VAG or at Audi to be sure.

Then you're probably sensitizing yourself to the noise. If the scan showed no codes and power is good, then just keep on rollin'. Scan it again after another 50 miles.

Just depends on the driver and how hard it has been driven.
