turbo problem?
I have a 98 1.8T quattro, it has 82K miles. Recently I have noticed that I don't feel any accelaration you feel in any turbo car. I don't feel the turbo anymore. Is that mean my turbo is gone? Regarding to my previous question it also has chk engine sign code (P1136), does it has anything to do with this. I love this car I just changed my timing belt and water pump. I really need help on this.

isnt P1136 having to do somthing with the air fuel ratio...it could be runnig rich or lean. I'd take it to the shop.

P1136 - Long Term Fuel Trim Add.Fuel,Bank1 System too Lean
burning oil is not uncommon for audis, it doesn't necessarily mean there is a problem....you don't hear the turbo spool at all or is it just weak? listen carefully for any sound of the turbo, if you don't hear it at all, you may need replace it. most people whose turbos have gone out completely say that their car is almost undriveable, not just a slight loss of acceleration.

well i can listen to the turbo, but i think it may weak. By weak i mean I can still drive my car, but it doesn't has the jump start when it is at stop. On highway no problem, drves great. Is this common in a4's (turbo goes weak). If it does need replacement how much we talking? where do i look for it? more input please
