Turbo noise
So last week I pulled my CAT for a repair and I was shaking it around. Out came this metal ball, now I only saw it for a split second cause it bounced away fast and it went out in to the street. So I think it might have been a ball bearing, not 100% sure though.
After this happened, I feel around the turbo to see if anything was wrong, but the thing is I never felt up the insides of my turbo before (no jokes please). However I did find something that I though was weird, theres something on the cat side that can spin maybe 3/4 of a full rotation but then stops and the shaft that it's connected to has a lot of in and out play but none sideways.
Also I've noticed that whenever I let go of the gas when the boost is around 10+ psi I'll get thi weird chatering noise.

RE: Turbo noise
thats the wastegate actuator, the sound you hear is the vibration. It has two small nuts that hold it tight, sometimes they loosen up and allow some vibration. mine is doing it too, but you gotta pull you turbo to get at then and retighten them.
