Turbo-back exhaust: INSTALLED
A little treat from my little brother for Christmas - installation of my LaBree HFC and Borla catback (thanks dude!!!) Could not be happier! He took me yesterday to his friends shop
brauning mororsports They do some crazy work, never been to the real speed shop, surely, they mostly work with Japanese cars, but some very sick hp is being cranked out at their shop!!!
Anywho... They were very impressed with the quality of these components. I'm impressed with the sound, nice mellow throat, almost stock quiet on the highway and the weight difference between the stock components - oh my!!!
Its raining, kinda hard to take good pics, but, here is an attempt at the closeup:
And the side shot:
LaBree cat out of the box:
Now in the car:
I love the clean stock appearance of the Borla, unless you know A4, I think it would be hard to tell otherwise just by taking a quick look at it:
Dunno about any numbers, all I can tell I can hear my turbo, and the car feels a little more responsive. All in good prep for the next step - K04
Any difficulties with install - not really, other than the bolts of the downpipe to stock cat, rusty as ****, 1 snapped off, so downpipe was cut just above the flex elbow, and once the airbox was removed, cat and what was left of the downpipe came through the top with no issues.
D
P.S. I swore to myself when I bough this car that I would not do anything in terms of modifications – so much for that, huh

Those would be mine Well, actually it's prior owner. I bough the car few months back for a daily driver for a very attractive price, dealership diagnosed the car with TB issue, and quoted her $4800 for repairs... She had TB changed just few thousand miles prior to this mishap, but when I took the car apart, this was the cause: Whoever was an idiot changing her TB, instead of changing the tensioner to the proper upgraded version just practiced his "shade tree mechanic" skillzzzzz:

Borla was on sale at AWE $599, LaBree cat - directly from them few months ago $250... Dunno about the install, since I've never seen the bill, but last time I cheked it was 2hr job.
