RE: turbo
there are no turbo's on the market that come close to the Garrett GT series. if you're going to buy a turbo, do it once, and do it right. plain and simple.
the turbo sizes and maps of those are pretty close. but the GT28RS is going to make a bit more power than the 60trim. haven't actually seen any 1.8t's with the T360trim on it.buti have seen 326Awhp out of a 1.8t with a GT28RS. that's about 417Bhp. looks like 250Awhpis the area the t3 60 trim would be at
further more, like said, it's dual ball bearing(dbb) vs journal bearing. which dbb > journal.. in relation to size, dbb turbo's will always spool faster and respool between shifts faster than a journal turbo of equal size
and honestly, how many turbo threads do you need?

RE: turbo
Both have thesame CFM rating and both hit full boost pretty much the same time. (.64 vs .48 <= if you dont know what that is, we are already over your head )
The gt28rs will make more power, but thats only because you can run a few more psi out of them. Also you still need to take into account the t3s60 from Turbonetics, but have seen a t3s60 slightly pull on a t3 60trim.
