you dont make boost when crusing at 75 or whatever on the highway. There is no load. You really need a boost gauge.

Do you have a K03 1.8t? If you do, you hear a distinct WHOOSH noise when you accel up to 80. I guess you're right, it isn't constantly boosting once you hit 80, but you boost all the way there (unless you granny shift). I guess we're both half right. LOL!

I'm pretty sure Cincy and I were having a conversation, not having a "who knows more about Audi's competition." I would lose that one rather quickly. I'm not out to prove anyone wrong, just sharing my experience. The city I live in in Montana is a mile high. So you're either going down a steep hill or up one whenever you're driving. And hence you're under boost a lot of the time.
Damn people are ornery here! I think everyone needs to go out and take a nice long drive to chill out.

OMFG that MTM B7 Audi RS4 supercharged is the most ridonkulous thing I have ever heard. I guess that is the ideal. But I would also assume that that car costs upwards of $100,000, all things considered.
You know, I was going to make this vote between a new S4 and the old B5 S4 tuned, but I didn't think anyone was going to vote for a new stock S4. I'm surprised how many people prefer the new RS4. I thought this poll was going to be a close one!

Vassar007, all those mods, but no boost gauge??? When youre cruising on the highway at any speed/any rpm, youre not necessarily boosting. If youre cruising, youre likely in vaccum.
