Hey how fast are your audis topping at. I topped at like 130, but im also chipped by revo. shouldnt i top out more?

 

Hmm. Good question. Mine is chipped as well but I've never run it flat out. I still had quite a bit of pedal left at 125 though. 123 is where the injectors cut out on the stock A4, I think. At that speed things like head winds and tire pressure can make a 5mph difference. I'm assuming you're driving an A4. What year and what else have you done as far as upgrades?

 

i migt be wrong but

1.8t stock top out around 125

1.8t modded around 140-150+???

2.8 stock 135 (both)

2.8 modified (12v) 135

2.8 modified 30v 150+??

i can not remember stock or modified s4 # they are150+????

all other models i also have no clue

 

I hit 134mph. giac chipped 1.8t

 

i thought audis have a speed governor of 130? or at least the new ones do. i remeber the dealer telling me that...

 

was this maxed out in rpms? or just ran out of room/got scared?

 

oh buy the way i have only hit around 125 in mine. also running out of room on my tach 6300 rpm limit. still was pulling stong just got nerous and let off.

 

yeP, its a 99.5 a4 1.8t, all its has is revo chip and forge bpv, at 130 i felt like the injectors cut off.

 

ran out of room - plus I was on non-sport suspension at the time. Kinda gave me the jitters.
The governor is removed from the car when you chip it.

 

If your tires are "H" speed rated it should be governed for 130mph.
