Exclamation Too Much Mileage?

Hey all,

I was wondering if 49,000 miles is too much for a 2008 A4 quattro? I am considering getting this car and I wanted to know if the mileage was a concern. The dealership is asking $22k.

I would get an extended warranty on that thing for sure.

Do you think that it's a solid deal or would you be too worried that there are going to be problems in the near future?

Might be too much...

Depends on the accessories I would guess.

I just purchased a 2008 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro with 35k miles for less than 22k.

Manual.
Premium Package (not sure what this means, tho)
No bluetooth.
AudiCare+ up to 75k miles.

Explain the car a little bit more. I did a lot of research before I bought my first one.

Sharp car.

This is the KBB rating...

Excellent $25,985

Looks new, is in excellent mechanical condition and needs no reconditioning.
Never had any paint or body work and is free of rust.
Clean title history and will pass a smog and safety inspection.
Engine compartment is clean, with no fluid leaks and is free of any wear or visible defects.
Complete and verifiable service records.

Less than 5% of all used vehicles fall into this category.

The Carfax states that all the recommended maintenance has been performed up to 45k miles (every 10K starting at 5k). Looks sound to me. Too bad its not CPO.

The only thing that worries me is the fact that I was under the assumption that all 08 models were the "s"package which included a badge on the steering wheel, as you can see from the pictus on the website there is no badge and the steering wheel is different from other models. Can you enlighten me on this?

Could it be a custom or after marking steering wheel?

No the mileage is definitly not to much!! It has actually the right amount of mileage for a 4 year old car. I would recommend if its possible at all to get an extended warranty up to a 100k. If its any less dont bother with that car. Until 80k that car will run great. After 80k whatever will happen nobody knows. It might run great till 200k but to be safe you want that extra 20000 mile warranty, cause usually thats when they start showing there true color!! Hope this helps!!

all models are made differently some of them will have certain pieces in the car that the other one does not have. Its just a thing they do i dont know why. But from what i have seen in those cars their usually the same exact steering wheel in the one that you are looking at even the s-lines'.
