I have an 03 Audi a4 fwd. I put 2007 A3 wheels on my car. they were wrapped in the Pirelli p6 tires. I truly hate Pirelli's. the size was 225-45R-17. I want to put 235-45R17's on these rims. Will it work? Does anyone know?

All AUDI could tell me was "I can only recommend the size that is specified by the factory".

 

It'llwork, but the 235mm tyres will bulge out to the sides more - probably no big deal. Best fit would be 225mm, like factory.

 

The only thing I face with the 225 size tires is thatmy speedometeris off around 4-5mph. I have driven it this way since i put the wheels on.
