Its not bad for my mods. It is a slow shifter though. I enjoy it, but manual would be more enjoyable. Id have a manual if it werent for my wife who would blow it up. This is the second auto ive had out of 7 cars. Tiptronic is fun when your choices are limited like mine. I wont be going over 220 hp though so it should be alright.

Depends how much you want to mod and how high you want to go.

the tip will be able to handle a K04, but no more.

If you want to mod a LOT (eg more than a k04, get a manual.) I have a tip, and I would prefer to have a manual.

Get quattro rather than FWD. You may be able to run APR State III on FWD but you are going to have a lot of torque steer.

ya the only problem is its 8,500 for the one with Front wheel drive or 15,000 for the one with quattro with 37k miles on it and a sports package but they both are tiptronic i believe. If i wanted to mod the turbo with that Stage 3 package u dont recommend having a tip? Also is it possible to make the FWD quattro?

Not possible to make a front driver quattro. Get quattro, it's worth it.
