Just experienced this today as well - only in Tip-mode, 2nd gear, light throttle. Almost like it shifted to 3rd on my behalf then realized it was in tip mode and went back to 2nd.

 

Haha, thats right... You have a good reason, for anyone who drives auto by choice. Die.

 

i have given up using the tiptronics manual mode. if i want a serious run. redline to redline upshifts i drop it down to 2 then listen for second gear, put the stick in 3, then 4. the manumatic shifting seems to have a mind of its own...hate it.

wish i could afford the giac tiptronic chip.

OnePoint, yeah, I think you're right. I just took a look on my ride home from the office and the condition isn't quite that pronounced...just a little drop in the RPMs. And you're right about the flat spot too, I just dug up some old notes to double-check.

 

Yes, I could drive an auto car with my *******... its boring dull and any daddys girl blonde can do it, have some fun... Drive stick.
