I wouldnt attempt such an agressive turbo upgrade as that. Though I dont believe you have to stick with your K03 or K03 sport. I have a k04 in on mine right now and its a trip. There are at least 4 others here who are doing the same. None of us have seen any issues yet to my knowledge.

I suggest you go K04 instead of risking a bigger turbo.

what do you think the biggest turbo i could get? ko4?......new tranny would be wayyy to much (not worth it)...might as well get the level 10 upgrade for about a grand.

I woudn't even risk a k04. My k04 put down way over 300 lb ft of torque on the dyno, and that is deff not safe for a tip tranny. I know of a few ppl that have had tranny problems with k04's.

the tip tranny is not even safe to put more than the basic mods to i would suggest trading your A4 in for a manual. or hold off modding it cause your going to not be happy spending the big bucks on a tranny.... sorry bro

you dont think a GT2871R is a big turbo, ur tranny wont hold the power, but there is a B6 with a GT28RS but who knows how long will that last, there is even a CVT with a GT28rs also, crazy people with money and tuners who dont care about the well being of their customers cars
