Ok I have only an APR dealer near me so I am getting the APR chip but I am wondering later on down the road I mgiht wanna add the GIAC tip chip to my 1999.5 A4 1.8T Quattro, will the GIAC tip chip work with the APR?

 

Yeah it will work, they engine chip and tranny chip arent related in any way.
Well I guess they are technicaly related for communication, but your ecu wont be affected by the GIAC TCU tweak. Try a search for more info. Its been talked about.
