well at least where u guys live the weather can make up it's mind. i live in binghamton, ny and the weather here is constantly in conflict with itself

 

ive done tints before. i would not reccomend it. i did it on a friends car and they came out nice, but there was a lot of cursing to persuade them into the right place and cutting a nice line across the top is almost impossible unless you have or make some sort of tool. and the worst it the back window. just if you do it remeber to cut the back window from the outside then put it on the inside otherwise you spend hours trying to cut it from the inside.

 

I sure wouldn't do the tinting myself. My reccomendations on the tint are: 5% on all the rears, and 20% on the driver and passenger fronts. Don't put anything on the windshield, it looks stupid. At least, thats the set up I've had on my last 2 trucks and am getting done on my new A4 in the next month or two.

 

Tinting is not as easy as it looks I would pay the $ to get it done. 1st time doing it you will have air bubbles, a crease or 2 in the tint and little hairs and such stuck in the tint, and possibly a few scuffs in the tint from the squeege.

 

Ive tried. With the a4 windows its hard becuase you have a frame over the window. Most cars are frame-less thus being easier. Trust me i just pealed them off. Get it done by a pro. Get 20% Looks amazing.
