Tinted tail lights

Default Tinted tail lights
If i spray tintted all of my tail light , really dark black, but u can see the brake lights when in use as well as turn signals. Is this illegal? Thanks

Ummm yeah. Pretty much all mods make your lights NON-DOT approved.

umm ya its called a smoked out tail light. umm i suggest u do it on a black car, i saw it done on a silver didnt look right.

haha i share my car with a4aram, its silver and i covered the whole thing so it looks black, i think it looks hot, nothing close to ricer

I tried using silver spraypaint. its the damndest thing my lights wont show through the paint. can anybody help me out?
