Whats the best way to go about cleaning the Throttle Body on an 01 DBW? Is there a write up anywhere?

 

No writeup. Get some TB cleaner from your local hardware store or autozone. Disconnect the intercooler hose and clean it out. It may have some carbon in there. You spray the TB cleaner on the little disc that flys open. Some people say to turn your car on and spray it into the intake while feathering the gas but I didn't bother. I did notice the runoff was a bit black from the carbon.

While you are doing your TB, you can do your MAF with the TB cleaner. Just note that your car's revs may jump around for a minute or so before settling down again.
