So its just bypassing the rest of your exhaust when you get a certain gas pressure? Not to convinced, to be honest!

its supposed to open once a significant amount of boost is being made. its says that you can even hook up a boost controler to program when the valve will open, if at all. i dont know i think it could sound pretty mean and see some hp gains.

then again it might just sound like an exh leak

i can't really see there being a dramatic increase in power. #1 when open, the exhaust gases have to make a 90 to get out. #2 when closed they now have to flow past the T (where there is now a large void) = TURBULENCE = less flow = less power. I'm no expert on fluid mechanics, but i have take a course or two.

a better design would have been a Y with the valve right at the junction.

just my $0.02

I have one, I didnt by the t, I welded up a y. Its nice but very very loud on the highway and it is never completly sealed. You can hear an exhaust leak at idle if u listen. There was a noticable gain with my turbo
