Ya see what they have to say, but its possible that if there are spacers where the fuel rail bolts down, the injectors seals didnt seal tight engouh due to sitting higher. All you have to do is look under the 2 bolts that hold down the fuel rail. If they dont make the injectors anymore id take one out and go to a hardware store and try to find a similar maybe slightly thicker 0 ring.

the dimensions are very important otherwise they wont seal

let me have a guess the air/seal gaps arnt tight for the injectors

If you replace the o-ring seals on the injectors, you should be good to go!
