Default Things Audi owners may not know...

I find out new things about my car all the time... it still amazes me. Like the fact there is a switch located near the
A pillar that turns off "DETECT WIND AND SET CAR ALARM OFF" mode, still dont know EXACTLY where it is. I keep hearing that there is a way for the car to read out RPM's via the LED display.

Anywho, this is for the people that can share little known facts about our cars.

in my car i believe that switch is located like where the door closes into, look down beside the seat with the door open, should be there. there was a write up on AW about hidden features within the climate control or something. u can display it that way, ill see if i can dig up the write up

read your manual to find out about that button...

You can also set the sensitivity of that sensor with the VAG com - so that way you can just turn the sensitivity down instead of having to press that button all the time when you leave your window down

Yeah, I am itching to get outta work to try this out... oh well only 45 more minutes of waiting...

Does the RPMs for example stay after you do it, until you decide to switch back?
