Thing that holds up the clutch pedal
There was an item that I saw before but do not remeber where. Small metal part can be installed under the clutch pedal so let you hit the clutch at the end point before.
What happen was, I do not need to push the clutch all the way down to change the gear. so I like to save some time with putting that stuff under the clutch pedal.
Any idea where can I find it ?

RE: Thing that holds up the clutch pedal
there was actually someone on here a few days ago that instead of that took the clutch pedal off and drilled another hole about 1.5" inches down from where the current one is and now his clutch engages closer to the floor. im assuming this would also shorten the length of the clutch travel as well.

Whatever you do, you'll need to make sure the pedal still hits the starter switch when you push it down, or else you won't be able to start the engine. (on my '02 anyway, maybe the 97-99 models don't have this switch). Also, there's a switch that engages at the top of the pedal travel that disengages the cruise control, you'll need to make sure that switch is still activated by the pedal when you let it up, or the cruise control won't work.
