i emailed PES about there T28 system
and they had something for the automatic drivers out there

Im sure its toned down but im sure its still more powerful then a K04
and i wonder how the PES/GIAC T28 Tip Chip is different from the GIAC regular tip chip
dont worry i kno the tip chip doesnt strengthin the tranny jsut messes wit the shifting.

 

im rollin a b5 tip tron and i want a gt28rs but i know it cant hANDLE IT

ko4 will be more brutal then the e05, the eo5 is not a very good turbo in reliablitly,and ko4 has better programing. Here's what u guys need to do. If you want to hold big power, save up some doe, tear ur tranny out and have it upgraded to a level 10, this will hold all ur power.

btw- panda, i dont know much about the auto tranny and how the clutches work, but u may need do something about that. I know the torque of my ko4 setup over powers my stock clutch when it hot. Just something to think about.

 

automatic clutches are cruddy and weak if yours coulndt handle it mine forsure wont handle it

theres a crazy auto tranny thats one M-benz use to hold down the 738 ft-lbs of torque droool

 

Convert your Auto to a 5spd

 

I've seen pictures of a 12V guy that did it. Sooooo not worth it. I think he only did it because he could, not because it was practical.

 

Thanks tips no it not practical at all the thing to do would be to sell yours and look for a 5spd you will end up losing a few grand in the process but It will be all worth it in the end if you do want to do a big turbo set up
