Test Pipe Review
So after 2 long days of cold and lack of tools I finally got the test pipe. I know what your all thinking how did I take so long, (around 12 hours). I really dont have an answer it was just a major pita. So anyway got everything thing off tried taking the cat with the dp on but that didnt work so I had to get the cat to dp bolts off. Took forever but finally got everything on along with the nonfouler mod. So started it up everything thing ran fine sounded a little more deep on the outside of the car nothing different on the inside. Let her warm up and then did a few WOT's. To my surprise it didnt feel any different. At this point you might be thinking I cut out a resonatorand put the tp there. but I didnt. Everything is hooked up correctly and it just doesnt even sound any different. At most the turbo is a little bit louder but not really. Im just surprised because I have only heard good things about tps but for some reason it just isnt the case. I really dont know what else to say other than I have beat up knuckles a check engine light and 120 dollars out of my pocket for nothing. Oh yeah I thought it was gonna take some time to get the Cel but it popped up after only 10 minutes of driving. I would still reccomend doing work the work expirience. I really dont want to deter anyone from buying them because I have heard such good things but I guess im just a tough critic.

RE: Test Pipe Review
there was actually someone who dyno'd their car before and after their tp install and there was no max hp gain, just made the powerband look a little better.
and yeah my tp install took like 7 hours. it was the first time i worked on the car and i had crappy tools. spent 4 hours just on the cat>dp bolts lol

RE: Test Pipe Review
I heard you needed to get a 3" even with stock exhaust because the 2 1/2" some of them have a like a step inside the pipe and it actually ends up being like a 2 1/4". I also heard that you will only see gains on a K03s if you are running it on a stock turbo and that is because it is so close to a k04. sorry to hear about the lack of gains man. just buy a gt series turbo and then you will definatley notice the differance.

RE: Test Pipe Review
it helps my car return to normal operating temps much quicker too.... EGTs return to about 400 degrees celcius in about 1-2 minutes depending how hard i was driving my last few miles (usually very easy) before the test pipe it took almost five minutes...
