It shouldnt come on right away unless you turned your ignition to ON (not start) with the 02 sensor's harness's unpluged.

1.8T,

Great thread to read through....thanks for posting your experiences.

Small tribute to your hard work......
I especially like "To call them "**** bolts" is an extreme understatement. They are mother ****ing *** crunching evil sons of bitches from far down in the depths of hell." lol, every time I read this I crack up.

When you stop aching, will you be ready to help me install a TP on my tip tanny? JK, all your pain made me realize I'd rather pay someone to take this type of work on......as much as I want to know how to DIY.

Did I miss the video post or are you still working on that?

here is a video of my car with the testpipe

well i went to an autoparts store and got the obd check engine light code. there were 3 codes that came up and non of them have to do with the o2 sensor. They were all related to the MAF and i think its cause when i putthat round rubber plug on the top of the air box back oninoticed that one of the wiresin the plastic piece that plugs inwas disconected. what do you think?

Yes, that would be a problem. Post a pic if you can.
