Test Pipe!

RE: Test Pipe!
A testpipe offers a true 10-15 horse power.
Borla full cat-back claims like 15 or something, but prolly gives something more like 5-8hp
Now if you already have the Borla exhaust system, and add the test pipe I'm assumining its near 20hp total.... Don't think already having an aftermarket Exhaust system lessens what a testpipe adds
Hope that helps

RE: Test Pipe!
Hey Deek where in colo do you live. A bunch of counties just got rid of their emmisions tests on jan 1st. I live in fort collins and larimer got rid of theirs so I get a test pipe. Look into your county rules.

RE: Test Pipe!
The added torque throughout the power band is the main gain with the test pipe. There is a 30-40 ft lb gain around 3500 rpms and spooling up and hitting full boost happens so effortlessly.... And the NOISE! Yum.

RE: Test Pipe!
A testpipe isn't just for a turbocharged car. "Testpipe" is just the terminology used to describe a hollowpipe where the catalytic converter goes but is longer there because it is for "testing" purposes only. So it applies to naturally aspirated motors too.
