I had heard they say you cn feel the vtec but i didnt know that you could really feel it that much

for sure .. ive had 2 civic Si's - a 99 and a 02 Si .. the engineering is genious in those cars .. "vtec" feels like a turbo at like 2 psi .. lol

Come to Wilmington, I'll take for you a ride.

A4 the Quattro... The EP3 (02-05) Sis were i-VTEC, with the K20A3. The A3 engine only has VTEC lobes on the Intake Camshaft... Meaning the VTEC engagement feels like a single cam... i.e Very slow and wide engagement. The EM1 (99-00) Sis were B16, they have a nice feel to them at VTEC engagement. But by far, the Type-R engagement is the strongest. B16B, B18C5, K20A, those are all Type-R engines, and they're all fun.

I'm not saying VTEC is some magical thing that makes Hondas faster than everything else... It just makes the cars a lot more fun. Haha.

I have broken down the equation stoichiometrically:

The Turbo goes = w00t w00t
The VTECKS goes = baaaaaBAAAAAA

... Combined.

The VTECKS Turbo goes = bw00000tBA00000T

Understand now?

Haha.

Well it's very different in Wilmington. And yes, you should die... In a large pool of Jello.

As for how VTEC works. Here's a helpful link...

Basically VTEC engines have two seperate camshaft grinds. One for economy (Pre-VTEC Engagement), and one for aggressive power (VTEC Engagement). When oil pressure reaches a certain level (Around 5,800RPM) the VTEC grind is engaged, causing a drastic increase in power.

Thus, MADD FCKIN VTACK!!1!!!!11!! hits j00 in da mowf!!11!
