T28 experience, not thinking about K04 no more
Hello
I was planning to go with K04 so I went to Autoassets last Saturday to get pc-16/j31 program for my ECU. I could not chip it because they needed to send ECU to Giac to get it done. Anyway I met with Chip who is one of the owners of the shop. He is a very good guy. We were talking about Audi’s and I was explaining him my K04 plan and he showed his car to me. He has a 97 A4 2.0T engine with T28 turbo. He took me and 2 other guys for a spin with his car. OMG it was incredible. I felt the huge amount of torque pushing me back while he was acceleration. Even with extra 3 people, car was going crazy fast. I did not even understand that we were going 100mph in seconds. After we backed to shop he asked me again “do I want to go K04 or not” After I spent like 2 hours in the shop I could not get my Giac but I bought a Kamei Grill Car looks very nice now.
I know that I’ll save my money to get GT28RS or similar. After I’ve seen what T28 can do, I think I will not be satisfied what K04 makes.
Please don’t misunderstand. I am not saying that K04 is bad or slow, just after you taste something faster, you don’t want to be slower than that.

I assume his company programmed the car? That'd be an awesome setup. Will you have bore it out to a 2.0 or will you keep the 1.8? What are the specs on a T28 and who makes it?
