Default Symphony Radio's

Just wondering if they are the same in 2000 and 2002... Ordered a deck installation kit for a 2002, because none seemed to exist for the 2000... apparently it'll fit, says the shop. I want to double check... I had my dad measure his before he left for work today... and the measurements seem similar... but not identical. Could just be one of us being lazy in our measuring... but yeah, I wanted this stereo install COMPLETED last week! ARGH.

2002 will not work. i had checked already.

from the research i have done on my 2001 they have to be custom made

a couple local shops told me the 2001 a4 was listed #4 on the top ten hardest cars for install[:@]

Ugh, I've already got the crap in my signature at the bottom! lol, this stuff is going in my car... no matter what it takes! Was the head unit the only thing you were having troubles with?

Hmmmmm. This is not looking very promising at all then... at this point, I'd probably pay the 250 to have something made :P Most people have troubles with the factory amps and sh*t in our cars... I never thought the head unit might be what got us. Well, the 2002 kit is ordered... this guy at the shop seems very confident... IF we somehow make something work, I'll be sure to post.

Was looking around... this A6 bracket looks like it might work. Hmmm!

I'll make it work... its just a matter of time -- and even that will be hurried. I've been waiting TOO long to get this hooked up.
