Default Switched power source?

I'm looking for a good place to get switched power (On when the key is on) on my 1997 A4. Any ideas?

If you open up the fuse panel there should be a fuse holder on the top left side that is empty. I went to autozone and bought a fuse tap. It looks like a fuse, only it has a power lead on it to hook up your device. You can also remove the knee bolster behind the steering wheel and find that terminal post, and wire it up to there.

The best way to get switched power is to remove the knee bolster below the steering wheel and look for a yellow 75x post.
That is switched power with the ignition. I use it for multiple things.

Just make sure you put an inline fuse to whatever you are installing.

... yes I have pics of just about everything
