RE: Suspension DIY?
Well thanks for the help, i'll probably end up doin it myself but out of curiosity, how much do you think a shop would charge for install? any range would help, even tho the number is a hard one to say because it will vary. i would call ach tuning but they dont like answering their phones. i swear i get ahold of them once every 2 months. they just lost my business for a chip for now. i cant keep postponing and rescheduling because they f-ed stuff up.

RE: Suspension DIY?
Fvcking devil bolt. You don't even have to remove it for a suspension install. I think shock/spring combo is pretty clear once you get in there. I know it's hard for me to visualize/correlate when I'm reading instructions, even when I have the real thing right in front of me. You will never get a completely concrete picture of what you're going to do until after you've done it.
The fronts will be one lower bolt, and four upper bolts, and some pushing/maneuvering to get it in without dealing with the devil bolt.
Having your brother there will help.
Trust me, you'll regret using your money on mechanic bills. There's nothing you can FUBARepair when you have aftermarket replacement parts. Worst case scenario is that you need an alignment after.
