Not sure how Audi's are setup but, in the past i just pounded the lug out the hub and got a new 1 from the dealer or store and pressed it in as far I could then mount the wheel and finish seating it that way.

Buy a new lug nut maybe? Use one of your stock ones?

Or are the threads stipped/gone on the bolt coming from the wheel hub?

Regardless, as long as the other four are tight, your wheel isn't going to fall off. I wouldn't worry too much, butI would replace the lug asap.
If the bolt is stripped, you would have to put a new wheel hub on there, a lot more work, but still do-able DIY.

Ok, are you saying the Lug BOLT is stripped out, or the threads on the hub are?

I cant picture how it is stripped because Audi uses lug bolts, not lug nuts. I just cant imagine how it can spin freely?
Dont they look like this on your car?

Geez, I am way too hung over today.
And I just did my brakes in Dec, so it hasn't been that long since I took the wheels off.
But I just did my brakes on the Expy too, and that has the other type of lugs.

So, yeah, is it the lug bolt itself that is stripped, or the threads in the wheel hub?
If the threads in the wheel hub are stripped, you'll just have to replace the whole hub.

yeah my bad guys anyways its a lug bolt..etc... the head of the blot is striped meaning its stuck on the hub with the stock rims and tire still on there ..basically stuck...

Isee, the lug bolt head.....

like kjg said, something that can grab really tight, like vice grips, should do the trick.
There are also bolt extractors which should work also.

You could also take a socket, that is just barely too small to fit over it, and pound it on to the lug so it grips it. It will probably ruin the socket, but will probably get it out for you.

Good luck.

When we have this problem at work or when there is no key for Audi/VW locking studs we use a air hammer with a chisle bit, make a grove in the end of the stud for the end of the chisle to fit intoand hammer it with the air hammerat an angle to spin itcounter clockwise.
