i have a 2001 A4 and i dont have a buttom to turn it off, is there another way to do so?

 

The 2001s came standard with Traction control. When accelerating , if a wheel starts to spin its brake is applied to stop the spinning. This feature does not have a disable button.

ESP keeps the car going where it's steered. When over-steer starts , the outside front brake is applied. When under-steer starts the inside rear brake is applied. There is a button to disable this feature.

 

so when i get my new clutch in i wont beable to burn out?

 

My dads B6 has ESP, and he hates it... lol, says it slows him down My car has... oh... whats that thing we have, to help us with traction and stuff... oh yeah! Quattro! Alllll you need.

i would be pretty upset if i had full-time traction control.....sometimes it's good, but most of the time it's just an annoyance...same with the esp...i can handle my car just fine, i don't need a computer to help me out...

 

turn off traction control and take the turn again and see wut happens

 

Im having a similar problem but mine is a light that kinda looks like a gas pump or something. Does anyone know what this light means?
