Stock Stats 0-60 and 1/4 mile
I have a 2000 1.8T 5 speed Quattro. 42K miles, I just put on Mintex red pads and new rotors, ATE (one step above stock). I also had the timing belt, tensioner and water pump replaced. Put a new TT Bypass valve, Now I am going to order APR chip. To save doing a before and after at the drag strip, does anyone know the stock zero to 60 and 1/4 mile time? I like to drive on the track, have a Nissan 350Z, bought the audi to drive in the winter but I like it so much and there are so many mods I am spending time with the Audi. BRRman, did I miss anything? Next should I get the suspension you have and some sticky tires?

Here's an interesting site to refer after the chip install:
A4 Timeslips
As far as stock numbers:
0-60 in about 7.5 to 8.0 seconds
1/4 mile in about 16 seconds

RE: Stock Stats 0-60 and 1/4 mile
Hey Mykdiver,
Might wanna do a search for intercoolers and turbo kits, or browse a little bit. I believe these topics were covered fairly recently. From what I read, front mount intercoolers don't help your hp that much (if at all). Also, search for K04 or T28 if your looking for a turbo upgrade kit. There is tons of info on these here and at the dealer websites we've posted all over the forum. The increase in performance is all dependant on what you get and how you tune it. A general question of performance boost from a turbo kit won't get you the answers you're looking for.
I love to see new people on the board...and I for one am as dumb as they come when it comes to car mechanic, but ya gotta use that search feature a little bud!
