Stereo works, speakers don't!

Stereo works, speakers don't!
The other night I got into my car after work and had no music. The stereo was working (the display was lit, I was able to change stations and change from tape to cd to radio), but there was nothing coming from the speakers. I have a 2003 A4 with the Bose stereo with the in dash cd changer. I checked the radio fuse which was fine. Is there another fuse somewhere, possibly on the back of the head unit? I would rather fix this myself than take it to the dealer. Thanks for any help.

Got me stumped. You try turning up the volume! [:-]j/k
You have'nt done anything with the stereo or electrical system? The only thing i could think to do is either check the radio/amp for a fuse, or fuse panel for an amp fuse.

The stereo/electrical system is completely stock. The only fuse I found that I found for the radio was still good. I attempted to get to the back of the head unit to see if it has a fuse on the back of it, but I couldn't get the stereo out of the dash, and I couldn't get behind it either. I'm not sure where the amp is in this car. I'm frustrated as hell!
