This is sort of a pointless post but I just finished installing a VDO boost gauge with the Podi steering column pod in my car. I got the vdo gauge for around $34 from 42draftdesigns and the podi steering column pod new off ebay for $30. I got the 90 degree fitting for the vdo gauge so it would fit but it wont screw all of the way in.. which means that the gauge sticks out towards my face about a quarter of an inch further than the pod.. but its hard to notice. The LED is from 42draftdesigns and is supposed to be white but looks bluish. It was all bought for under a hundred dollars so I am not going to complain. not a bad deal huh? I took these pictures with my phone so excuse the bad quality

You need to cut off 1/2 of the brass fitting sticking out of the VDO gauge in order to screw the 90 degree fitting on and have it fit in the pod.

 

looks good... i did the newsouthperformance.com pod and gauge setup.
