Default Stay away from vvme.com

I just ended a month long dispute with vvme. They said they tried to deliver my HID kit twice and no one was home then they told me they wanted an extra $40 if I wanted to receive my lights. Anyway, I had to go through PayPal and file a formal claim and it was a huge hassle. Finally I ended up getting my money back so I was just wondering if anyone has suggestions of where to buy a nice HID kit.

I know for a fact that someone was at the address I gave them. My dad is retired and he never leaves the house.... like literally never. And I guess leaving it in my mailbox or on our front step is a concept that is beyond them. But any suggestions on where I should buy a kit from now? I've got my $90 back and its burning a hole in my pocket!

Well, I think if you don't go with vvme.com, you'd better plan on doubling that money because vvme.com is super cheap. As for other companies, I only know of one local company and I dealt with them in person since their website kind of sucks, but the product is good and not incredibly expensive. If you can't get it arranged on their website, email them, they're helpful.

I got an HID kit made by vvme.com, but I bought it from an eBay seller. I received it in about 2 weeks, was 5 dollars cheaper and they were backed up by feedback. Maybe try that.

Wow, after checking prices elsewhere I might just have to give vvme another try. $258? That's insane and way out of my price range!

Er, delivery has nothing to do with VVME. It's either UPS, FedEx, or USPS. (I once had FedEx claim they attempted to deliver at my house at 4:30am!! IN THE MORNING!! and they said I wasn't home!!!)

I can see how VVME might have wanted more money since it probably got sent back to them and they ended up eating the shipping charges.

I wonder if they would sell to you again since they probably have "blackballed" you already.

Also, I ordered 6 kits on a thursday from VVME. It was shipped Friday, and I received it Monday!!! This is from China too! That's faster than if I ordered something from the east coast! (i'm on the west coast)
