Default Standalone EMS

On my old RX7, I had a standalone, I see there are products available which will work with Audi (motec, microtech, etc). I am looking at standalone EMSs because there aren't any chips to suit my needs (good programming for 2.8 w/ CAI + Test pipes)

Any reccomendations?

Means you override the ECU and use an aftermarket one. It's needed for things like adding a turbo kit to a 12 Valve engine.

Yeah, the standalone won't be worth it unless you do something radical.
