Nonetheless, I'd just personally never own one, and yes, I have ridden in them. I don't like them, its personal choice. Yours may put down "500 HP" but until I see a dyno sheet, I can say my car puts down "670 HP". Each car has its good points, maybe that and an Audi were good enough for you, but a lot of people still view them as a glorified ****-box. I'm not trying to be a dick, but just making a valid point. Dodge did not build them for reliability, but for 1/4 mile times, you're not going to get the best of both worlds, its that simple. Whenever you have a high performance engine, it is just not simply going to last as long. Enough said, I'm done with this thread, its stupid.

 

I have a huge love for the interior of my a4. I think it is one of the nicest out there, the overall feel and quality of it is almost unbeatable. I also have been in many srt-4s, one stage 2 with over 50k on it. And I can honestly say that the interior as well as the exterior is sweet, and I would love to have some seats like that in my car(leather) It is an awesome little car for the $. Yea it's no audi when it comes to overall quality and feel, but the car isn't desined to be a luxary car its a inexpensive econobox on steriods! And also for being a fwd car it handles very good, I drove an acr srt-4 and that thing was one of the best handling fwd cars I've ever driven. Who gives a crap about weather or not the back windows dont roll down, whoever said that they went to race one and just rolled there back windows down and said haha. I am sure the guy in the neon wasn't pissed I bet he probably was thinking WOW that was the gayest SH!I THAT I EVER SAW! Last thing, The day I depend on my car to get chicks is the day I go home and slit my rists because I have no game whats so ever! WHO CARS PEOPLE WE HAVE AUDIS BIG FRIGIN DEAL JUST BECAUSE SOME CAR THAT COSTS HALF AS MUCH AS HOURS DOESN'T LIVE UP TO WHAT OUR CARS ARE DO WE HAVE TO HATE THEM AND RIP ON THEM! I drove my buddies and yeah its a lot of fun and all but I just feel better in my car plus you gotta love quattro. But I do know that the reason they stopped making them is because too many youg kids were blowing them up and then coming back saying well its under warranty. So dodge scrapped it. The caliber is less appealing to little kids who say "yay a turbo and a stick shift I'm a street racer VROOM VROOM" BANG!

who cares if the srt-4 is faster or the audi is nicer, we bought what we bought because its what we wanted. No one is gonna convince me that their car is better and I am not gonna convince htem my car is better. All these threads are useless and do absolutely nothing but remind us about the specs of each vehicle.

 

WOW the stock engine in a 98 r/t was a pile, 420a?? the walls are built good enough to handle boost and they are stationary walls, but they are a 150hp engine, piles of ****, and the 4g63 came from another car besides the Lancer Evolutions, it more commonly came out of an eclipse or talon, there is some key differences, anyway had to correct that out. just cuze its a 2.0 dual cam 16v, dones't mean its a 4g63 most likely its a 420a or w/e they had in 98, anyway neons suck ***, srt-4's are gay, and aorund here in my civic i can beat them i only ran a 13.2. SRT4's are high 13's here with suspension and drag radials and yes the guy was good driver, but i give them 1/4 miles props for stock, but it is it really that hard to make an audi faster?? comon peeps

my eclipse (for sale) and my civic, ZC DOHC, 14b turbo, mildly ported, stock block, arp VW head studs(yes VW) gay *** 6 puck clutch from clitmasters, nothing to fancy, ran a 13.215@103 this is very tops a 220hp car, so time to make them audi's have high 200 hunreds and should beat an srt-4 in my opinion
