Sport mode vs. (normal) Drive mode
I just found out yesterday what the "S" stands for on the shifter - Sport.
Has anyone tried this? If so, what are the differences, advantages and disadvantages between Sport and normal Drive mode?

RE: Sport mode vs. (normal) Drive mode
From my experience, this is what I have noticed.
The normal drive mode upshifts sooner to get into the higher gears to save on gas.
Sport mode stays in each gear longer, to utilize the power band.
I have not noticed anything else between the two. Mind you I still only have 80 KM on my car.

The only difference is that the sport mode shifts at a higher RPM, to give you better accelleration at the expense of worse gas mileage.

I used to drive in sport mode all the time. But with gas prices where they are, I had to stop. It made about a 4 to 5 mpg difference.
