Default speed limiter - Need some help

I have 2004 A4, last week i try to test my car on the tracks and I could not go over 220km/h. I seems that they have govern( speed limiter) on the A4. Does anyone knows how to remove this or is there any upgrades to remove the speed limiter.

Chip usually removes it. Maybe with vag-com too, but IDK for sure on that.

yes a chip or vag tool, i removed the governor on my 96 with a vag cable and revo tech lemiwinks. if you have the turbo get a chip for the money you get the rev limiter upped and the speed limiter removed or upped and over more power.

You could download this program here:
http://www.unitronic.ca/uni/index.ph...&Itemid=58
and there is a channel where you can adjust the speed limiter (with a Vag-Com cable).

The genuine Ross-Tech is fairly expensive (around 250 bucks if I remember well, and worth it in my opinion) but there are 3rd party interfaces available on eBay for cheaper.

One more question. Do you have any instructions how to remove the computer part from the car or a website that explain all these stuff.

I just don't want spend hours trying to figure out how to remove or upgrade this.

Thx

There is no need to remove the ECU to do this. Just plug the Vag-Com cable/3rd party interface into the Com port (it is located by your left knee, underneath the dashboard). There is no removal, just plug, connect, and do what you need to do using your computer.
